Norway involved in Your Europa web portal
The Brønnøysund Register Centre is responsible for information regarding Norway and has representatives on the portal’s editing council, which meets three or four times a year.
The business section of the portal offers theme-based information on the EU and on each country’s laws and regulations in connection with the establishment and operation of companies in the EU. Each theme contains theoretical and practical information, links to laws, regulations and relevant websites. The portal gives its users a good overview of what is required if they want to move across national borders within the EU and establish themselves in another European state. The EU Commission and DG Enterprise and Industry are in charge of the EU’s information, while each country is responsible for the contents of its own national templates.
The Norwegian pages (‘Ditt Europa’) were launched in February 2010. The entire website has been completely revised in the course of the past year and the links are checked regularly. The portal’s layout and functions have also undergone major changes, to make it easier for users to navigate. Read more about Ditt Europa.
